About five years ago, in the spring, I met Randy from Lewis Seafood Market. At the time, the seafood business was just an idea — something I felt pulling at me but hadn’t fully stepped into yet.

That fall, I went back and talked with him again. He was excited about the opportunity. Not just about selling fish — but about building something honest and fresh. We sat down, made a plan, and honestly… learned together what this business was going to look like.

Over time, it became more than a supply run.

I’ve met the fishermen who bring the catch in. I’ve met the owners at the food truck. I’ve spent time with the people who make the island of Topsail what it is. I’ve seen the early mornings, the hard work, and the pride behind every haul.

The original goal was simple — bring fresh seafood back home.But what it turned into was a relationship. A partnership. A connection that’s been working ever since.
